The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Ivanov feints and then cracks Praline's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Praline down.

Ivanov is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Praline asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Ivanov parries the strikes from Praline easily there. Praline is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ivanov to escape.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Praline looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ivanov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Praline accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Praline won't let Ivanov get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
