Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewayne Jennings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fighter comes to the cage accompanied by RENEGADE MASTER. Jennings has chosen Step Out (by Benny Page) as his entrance music. Dewayne Jennings acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter cracks a nice hook into Jennings's ribs.
Fighter checks a low kick from Jennings.

Fighter drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jennings is looking for a triangle but Fighter pushes his legs off easily.
Jennings keeping moving, preventing Fighter from controlling successfully.
Fighter is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Dewayne Jennings seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jennings gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fighter to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jennings is trying to control the position but Fighter postures up.
Jennings wants to get back to his feet but Fighter is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Jennings looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fighter is one step ahead there.
Jennings manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jennings stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Fighter has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fighter there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jennings fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fighter manages to avoid it.
Jennings tries to clinch up but Fighter circles away and keeps his distance.
Jennings throws a series of punches but Fighter avoids them all with ease.

Fighter swings for the body but Jennings moves out of range.
Jennings ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and Fighter counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Fighter is keen to just control but Jennings is a slippery customer.
Jennings wants to control but Fighter is keeping busy.
Jennings preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Fighter seems to be looking for submissions.
Jennings pushes Fighter off looking to stand but Fighter dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fighter tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jennings knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Jennings has one foot on Fighter's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jennings throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
