Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Cooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Oppenheimer!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cooper feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Oppenheimer sprawling to the canvas! Oppenheimer rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cooper finish him?!


It looks like Robert Oppenheimer has been cut.
Cooper ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oppenheimer moves away.
A big left from Cooper misses.
Oppenheimer shoots for a takedown but Cooper saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cooper misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Oppenheimer.
A big right from Cooper misses.
Cooper defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Oppenheimer.
Dan Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Cooper misses its intended target.
Cooper throws a jab but it's blocked by Oppenheimer.

Oppenheimer gets a clinch.
Oppenheimer is working for takedown but Cooper is calmly controlling the position for now.
Dan Cooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Oppenheimer.
Cooper gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Oppenheimer.
A frustrated look appears on Cooper's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Cooper has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Oppenheimer tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Oppenheimer is working for takedown but Cooper is calmly controlling the position for now.
Cooper is trying to break the clinch but Oppenheimer is controlling him.
Oppenheimer goes for a takedown attempt but Cooper pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Oppenheimer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cooper.
Oppenheimer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cooper sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Oppenheimer somewhat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cooper throws a hook to the side of Oppenheimer's head but Oppenheimer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cooper ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oppenheimer moves away.
Cooper missing with a left hand there. Oppenheimer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Cooper gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Oppenheimer to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Cooper wants to stand but Oppenheimer is controlling the position.
Oppenheimer looking to pass the guard.
Oppenheimer is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Oppenheimer wants to control from the top but Cooper keeps moving.
Cooper is looking to stand up but Oppenheimer isn't so interested in that idea.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Oppenheimer with a flurry of punches that miss.
Oppenheimer throwing strikes from guard but Cooper blocks nicely.
Cooper keeping moving, preventing Oppenheimer from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Oppenheimer walks straight into a right hand from Cooper - that's dropped him! Cooper jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Oppenheimer from any more punishment! Oppenheimer complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dan Cooper!
