The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jardine shoots in and drives through. Thunderwrath sprawls well.
Jardine wants to clinch.
Jardine looks to score with a jab to the body but Thunderwrath is just out of range.
Thunderwrath misses with a wild combination.
Thunderwrath shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jardine drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Thunderwrath takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Jardine has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Thunderwrath gets back to half guard.
Thunderwrath controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jardine dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Jardine moves into the clinch successfully.
Thunderwrath is trying to break the clinch but Jardine has him pressed against the ropes.

Jardine pulls guard effortlessly.
Thunderwrath wants to stand but Jardine is controlling his posture from full guard.

Thunderwrath gets to his feet - Jardine follows without any prompting.
Jardine shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thunderwrath but Thunderwrath pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Thunderwrath throws a right and a left that Jardine avoids nicely.

Jardine wants to control the pace but Thunderwrath is squirming around nicely.

Thunderwrath tries to lock up and control but Jardine gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Thunderwrath is desperately trying to improve his position but Jardine has a good base and remains in mount.

Jardine throws a wild left hand from mount and Thunderwrath manages to wriggle his way back to half guard.
Thunderwrath tries to roll over but Jardine keeps him under control.
Jardine wants to take a breather but Thunderwrath is having none of it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jardine keeps the fight on the outside.
Jardine fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tank Jardine. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Thunderwrath or perhaps it was just good defense by Jardine which made him look bad.

Thunderwrath is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Jardine looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Thunderwrath has picked Jardine up and slammed him! Jardine can't keep hold of the triangle and Thunderwrath manages to pass to side control!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jardine tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Thunderwrath has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Thunderwrath has isolated one of Jardine's arms. Jardine looking to fight him off but Thunderwrath twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
