The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lau has closed the distance and engaged Marley in a clinch.
Lau jumps guard but Marley stands there with Lau around his waist. Lau gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Marley's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Lau tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marley smiles and moves away.
Marley thows a body shot but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marley throws a series of punches but Lau moves out of range.
Marley throws a shot from downtown. Lau moves away and avoids it.
Marley steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lau.
Lau just misses with a punch to the body.
Marley takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Marley misses with the combination.

Lau scores with a sloppy right hand. Marley should have avoided that one.
Marley swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lau ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lau throws a jab when Marley was well out of range.

Lau lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Lau tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marley paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Marley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lau scores with a punch to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lau connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Marley tumbling to the canvas! Lau pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Marley was done - good stoppage!
