Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akaboshi Aida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alec Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aida comes to the cage accompanied by Iggy Pop - The Passenger. Rush has chosen God's Gonna Cut You Down - Johnny Cash as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aida decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Aida is working for a submission of some sort.
Aida moves into full mount! Rush won't be happy about that!
Rush is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Aida can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rush is looking to escape.

Rush is desperately trying to improve his position but Aida has a good base and remains in mount.

Rush's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Aida goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rush turns into him and now he's in Aida's guard.

Aida is trying to drag Rush to the mat but Rush just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
