The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paz instigates a clinch.
Paz tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Paz pulls Loveladdy into guard.

Loveladdy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Loveladdy avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Loveladdy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Paz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Paz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Loveladdy's guard.

Loveladdy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Paz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Both fighters circling a little - Loveladdy finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Paz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Loveladdy's guard.

Paz is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Loveladdy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Loveladdy is on top in guard.

Paz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Loveladdy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Paz swings around for an armbar but Loveladdy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Paz's guard.

Paz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Loveladdy manages to get himself to full guard.

Loveladdy isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Paz stacks Loveladdy on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Paz!

Loveladdy has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Paz to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Loveladdy is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Paz pulls down on the head and he's put Loveladdy to sleep! This one is all over!
