Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Devin Urquidez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brent Squires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Squires decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Squires prevents Urquidez from standing back up.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Squires lands a nice short elbow.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Urquidez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Squires's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Squires's back!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Squires is trying to break free.
Urquidez tries to keep control of the position but Squires is staying busy.

Squires has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Squires rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Urquidez wants to stand up but Squires is controlling the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Urquidez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Squires looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Urquidez!
Urquidez is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Urquidez tries to reverse the position but Squires maintains control.
Squires scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Urquidez?
Urquidez is wriggling around trying to escape.
Squires has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Urquidez's face.
Urquidez is looking to improve his position but Squires isn't that keen on the idea.

Squires lands a big shot there that rocks Urquidez but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Urquidez takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Squires! Urquidez is hurt baaadly! Squires is firing away with more strikes - Urquidez is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
