The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Enrique throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lincoln.
A jab from Lincoln misses.
Enrique misses with a takedown attempt - Lincoln sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lincoln defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Enrique.
Lincoln tries to clinch there but Enrique circles away.
Lincoln tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Enrique was well out of range. Poor timing from Lincoln.
Lincoln throws a body punch but Enrique moves out of range.
Enrique displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lincoln ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lincoln tries to clinch but Enrique is having none of it.
Lincoln throws a nice looking combination but Enrique bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Lincoln closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Lincoln manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Lincoln doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Enrique wants to control from the top but Lincoln keeps moving.

Lincoln has his foot on Enrique's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Enrique works his way back into a safe position though.

Enrique stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lincoln swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Enrique content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Lincoln has locked up a guillotine! Lincoln's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Enrique is holding on here and Lincoln must be using up a lot of energy. Enrique has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Lincoln gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
