Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Travis Penny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Afro McFly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Travis Penny has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McFly closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

McFly is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Penny sees it coming and defends easily.
Penny wants to get back to full guard.
McFly throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Penny manages to escape and get back to his feet!
McFly throws a sloppy head kick and Penny moves out of range easily.

Penny fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McFly, pushing him back against the cage.

Penny manages to break the clinch.

Penny shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. McFly is trying to defend but Penny finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Penny looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Penny wants to take a breather but McFly is having none of it.

Penny looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McFly with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
McFly pushes Penny off looking to stand but Penny dives back in and keeps control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
McFly moves in looking to clinch but Penny pushes him off.
McFly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Penny was well out of range. Poor timing from McFly.
Penny swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

McFly throws a hook but Penny avoids it easily.
Penny wants to clinch up but McFly keeps it at a distance.

and McFly decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Penny's guard.

McFly stands and steps away. Penny gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

McFly has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Penny controls McFly momentarily but McFly frees himself.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Penny throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

McFly misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Travis Penny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Afro McFly.

Penny shoots for a takedown but McFly saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Penny counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McFly's guard now.

McFly is looking to control Penny's arms but Penny gets an underhook and turns him. Now McFly has his back to the cage.
