PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Solo Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conde Koma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green comes into the arena with Jethro Tull blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koma fails with an attempt to clinch.

Koma gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Green to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Koma keeping moving, preventing Green from controlling successfully.

Green avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Green trying to control but Koma is working from the bottom.

Koma is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Green defends well.
Green trying to control the position from guard on top but Koma is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Green seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Green's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Green is pushing down on Koma's leg trying to pass to half guard. Koma is fighting to maintain full guard but Green has managed to sneak the leg through.
Koma is looking to improve his position.

Koma is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Green pulls his head out easily.

Green has hold of Koma's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Koma seems comfortable defending it but Green has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Koma is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Koma is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Green couldn't care less - he's delighted!
