The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marx misses with a two punch combination.
Sewell misses the shot to the body.
Marx tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sewell paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sewell gets a clinch.

Sewell pulls guard successfully.
Marx wanted to stand there but Sewell had control of the position.
Sewell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Aiden Marx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marx scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sewell looks gassed!
Marx will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Marx lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sewell takes a step back to recover.

Marx lands a left and a right that send Sewell crashing to the mat, dazed. Marx thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Michael Sewell has been cut.
Marx feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Sewell crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
