The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans shoots in but no luck this time.
Murphy scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Mark Evans has been cut.
Evans looks for a takedown but Murphy sprawls well.
Evans fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Evans. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Murphy fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Evans checks it well.

Murphy moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Evans shoots for a double leg takedown but Murphy sprawls well. He's pushed Evans's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A right-left combo lands from Murphy.
Evans is breathing heavily.
Murphy slaps away a takedown attempt from Evans, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Murphy looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Murphy lands a left and a right that send Evans crashing to the mat, dazed. Murphy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Evans is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Evans drops his hands momentarily and Murphy needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Evans just on the top of the head. Evans drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Evans - he's done!
