Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Black Path (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Graham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graham tries to clinch but Path is having none of it.

Graham shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Path throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Graham scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Path is working an open guard so Graham takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Graham counters with a shoot takedown. Path fights it but they end up in guard.

Graham gets to his feet - Path follows without any prompting.

Graham tries to close the distance and clinch up but Path swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Graham pushes Path up against the cage in a clinch.
Graham lands a body punch in the clinch.

Path breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Path pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Graham throws a chopping leg kick but Path manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Path has his takedown stuffed

and Graham counters with a shoot takedown. Path fights it but they end up in guard.

Path isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Graham stacks Path on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Graham!
Path is breathing heavily.
Graham working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Path prevents Graham from moving into mount.
Graham has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Graham lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Path down.
Graham is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Path will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Path tries to hold on but Graham pushes him away.
Path is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Graham is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Graham takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Graham has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Path's face.

Path tries to improve his position but instead Graham has taken his back!

Path defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Graham's arms.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Path is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Graham is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Path's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Path's back!
