The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.

Aldo catches Gracie with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Gracie throws a shot from downtown. Aldo moves away and avoids it.

Aldo closes the distance and clinches.

Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Gracie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Aldo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gracie but great work by Aldo.

Aldo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Aldo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Gracie is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Aldo rolls with it to try and escape but Gracie cranks on the arm and Aldo is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
