The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andre darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Andre wants to work for an arm triangle but Hammer is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Andre looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Andre is pressing down on Hammer's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hammer is holding on for now.
Andre is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hammer defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Andre is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
