The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arapot feints and as Oikooseks raises his hands in defense, Arapot changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Arapot drops back looking for a leg! Oikooseks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Oikooseks manages to kick Arapot off! Arapot jumps back into Oikooseks's guard.

Oikooseks has his foot on Arapot's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Arapot works his way back into a safe position though.

Arapot got a little sloppy there for a moment and Oikooseks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Arapot has managed to get both his arms back between Oikooseks's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Arapot wants to get up but he can't break Oikooseks's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Oikooseks drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Oikooseks as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Arapot screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Oikooseks! Nice submission victory there!
