The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anstey gets caught flat footed, as Clarkson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Anstey thows a huge punch but Clarkson dodges it nicely.
Clarkson pushes Anstey off looking to stand but Anstey dives back in and keeps control.

Anstey is looking for a kimura but Clarkson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Anstey to get the leverage.

Anstey looks to land a strike but Clarkson avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Anstey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anstey wants it to stay on the feet.

Anstey closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Clarkson to the mat! Clarkson manages to get full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Anstey swats away the attempt to clinch by Clarkson.

Anstey postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Clarkson is trying to buck Anstey off.

Anstey has hold of Clarkson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Clarkson seems comfortable defending it but Anstey has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Clarkson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Clarkson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Anstey couldn't care less - he's delighted!
