The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chonin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rios momentarily.
Rios throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chonin.
Rodrigo Rios seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rios looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Rios connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Chonin to the floor! Rios dives in looking for the finish!

Rios decides to stand up, so the ref orders Chonin to his feet.
