The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warrior looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Warrior looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Alves lands a nice hook to Warrior's body. Warrior takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Warrior doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Alves scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Ultimate Warrior has been cut.
Warrior takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alves clinches up against the cage.
Alves breaks the clinch.
Alves drops Warrior with a right and a left! Alves comes rushing in but Warrior regains his composure and manages to keep Alves in guard.
Warrior is rocked!
Alves works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Oh Warrior is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alves is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Alves stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Warrior to get to his feet.
Warrior seems to have got his legs back now.
Alves lands with a big left! Warrior is wobbled badly! Alves comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Warrior to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Renato Alves!
