Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guerra kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Sound Of Thruth - As I Lay Dying. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerra wants to clinch up but Powers keeps it at a distance.
Guerra moves in looking to clinch but Powers pushes him off.

Guerra moves into range and clinches up with Powers.

Guerra breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Powers gets caught flat footed, as Guerra shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Powers striking off his back but it's not causing Guerra any problems.

Guerra drops back looking for a leg! Powers is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Powers manages to kick Guerra off! Guerra jumps back into Powers's guard.

Guerra thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Powers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Guerra slaps away a takedown attempt from Powers, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Powers shoots in and bounces Guerra off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Powers not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Guerra uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Guerra drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Powers takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Powers manages to work his way to half guard, despite Guerra's best efforts.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Guerra lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Guerra is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Guerra is breathing heavily.

Powers is staying active underneath Guerra, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Guerra working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Powers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Powers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Powers must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Powers drops back looking for a leg! Guerra is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Guerra manages to kick Powers off! Powers jumps back into Guerra's guard.

Powers has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Guerra to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Powers is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Guerra pulls down on the head and he's put Powers to sleep! This one is all over!
