Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kompakt Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Untstinx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes into the arena with Gracie Family Entrada blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Untstinx with a nice cross.
Untstinx fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Untstinx is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Untstinx circles away and we're back to standing.
A combination from Untstinx does no damage.
Gracie throws a push kick but Untstinx slaps the foot to one side.
Gracie lands a head kick!

It looks like Mike Untstinx has been cut.

Untstinx shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Untstinx was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Gracie bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Untstinx has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Gracie advances to half guard.

Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Untstinx is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.

Untstinx pulls Gracie in close to prevent any damage.

Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Untstinx is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Untstinx manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Untstinx's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Gracie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Untstinx is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Untstinx has escaped and now he's on top!

Gracie looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Untstinx has picked Gracie up and slammed him! Gracie can't keep hold of the triangle and Untstinx manages to pass to side control!

Gracie seems a little lost for a moment, as Untstinx dominates the positioning.
I looks like Untstinx might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Untstinx really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie tries to improve position but can't.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gracie is looking to reverse the position.
Gracie takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Untstinx moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Gracie is looking for a sweep.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Gracie tries to clinch there but Untstinx circles away.
Mike Untstinx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Untstinx misses with an uppercut.
Gracie fails with an attempt to clinch.

Gracie lands a head kick that stumbles Untstinx and the fighters go to the mat.

Untstinx is rocked!

Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Untstinx is still in real trouble! Can Gracie finish him?
Untstinx wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment.

That was a close round but I would say that Kompakt Gracie will probably get the nod.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Gracie fails in his attempt to clinch.
Untstinx seems to have recovered his senses.
Untstinx looks to land a left hand but Gracie moved out of range nicely.
Untstinx throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Untstinx misses with a body shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
Gracie blocks a jab.
Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Untstinx circles away.
Untstinx tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Untstinx drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Untstinx gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Untstinx seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Let's hope that Untstinx has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Gracie tries to roll over but Untstinx keeps him under control.
Well, if Untstinx is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mike Untstinx just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Untstinx will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Gracie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
