The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Yamamoto defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ramsey.
Ramsey is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ramsey shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ramsey was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Yamamoto tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ramsey throws some wild stikes that Yamamoto manages to avoid easily.
Ramsey lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Yamamoto hang on?
You get the feeling that Yamamoto really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Ramsey unloads with some shots from mount but Yamamoto bucks and avoids them well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Ramsey wants to control the pace but Yamamoto is squirming around nicely.

Ramsey misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Ramsey breaks from Yamamoto's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Yamamoto sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ramsey connects with a nice short shot to Yamamoto's temple.
Ramsey has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
