Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mister Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Violate You- Chino XL. John Jones has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Jones takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
Jones slips under a jab.
Lee throws a solid leg kick but Jones takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lee.
Lee throws a leg kick which misses Jones's front leg but catches the back leg as Jones tries to avoid it.
Lee throws a quick inside leg kick.
Lee misses with a looping right.
Lee throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mister Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lee scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Lee takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.
Jones walks into a left hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lee. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lee misses with a wild body shot.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee.

Jones thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jones is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lee has escaped and now he's on top!
Jones is breathing heavily.

Jones wants to stand but Lee is controlling the position.
Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones wants to stand but Lee is controlling the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lee seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lee pushing down on Jones's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Jones wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

A punch lands to the side of Jones 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Mister Lee dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Lee fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones.

Jones is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Lee swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.

Lee lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Jones takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Lee lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jones at a distance.
Mister Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lee finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Jones shoots in but no luck this time.

Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Lee counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Jones chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lee can pounce on him.

Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
