Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Atsushi Yoshida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and San Cou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshida comes to the cage accompanied by The Best Around. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cou is looking to clinch.

Yoshida moves into range and clinches up with Cou.
Cou has had enough of the clinch but Yoshida keeps him there for the moment.
Cou working hard to break the clinch.
Knees in the clinch landing for Yoshida.
Yoshida prevents Cou from breaking the clinch.
Cou tries to pull guard but Yoshida holds him up against the cage and eventually Cou drops back down to his feet.

Cou wants to break the clinch but can't.

Yoshida's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Yoshida counters with a two punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yoshida misses with a few strikes there.

Yoshida fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cou, pushing him back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yoshida gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Yoshida stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Yoshida has Cou pressed against the cage, preventing Cou from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Yoshida breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Yoshida throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Still in the clinch, Yoshida scores with a nice short uppercut.

Cou jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yoshida walks away with a smile on his face. Cou gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Yoshida instigates a clinch.
Cou takes an elbow to the forehead.

Yoshida breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cou is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Yoshida connects with a nasty looking knee right to Cou's face.
Yoshida stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Yoshida escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cou takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Crunch! Yoshida slams his shin into Cou's torso.
Yoshida lands a high kick!

Yoshida lands a big head kick that sends Cou tumbling to the mat! Yoshida takes a step backwards and waves Cou back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Cou is rocked!
Yoshida drops Cou with a naaaaasty hook - Cou is in real trouble here! Yoshida dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
