The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jayd scores with a nice strike.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jayd.
Jayd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jayd lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Jayd pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Johnson moves out of range of the strikes.
Johnson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Johnson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jayd.

Jayd has closed the distance and engaged Johnson in a clinch.
Jayd blocks an uppercut.
Jayd has Johnson pressed against the ropes, preventing Johnson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson tries to bum rush Jayd with a series of wild strikes but Jayd uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Johnson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jayd turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
John Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jayd throws a nice outside leg kick.

Jayd clinches up with Johnson and pushes him back against the ropes.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Johnson.
Johnson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Jayd lands a nice knee to the body.

Johnson looks gassed!

Johnson is rocked!
Jayd jerks Johnson's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Johnson drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Jayd goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Jayd because Johnson was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
