Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Kyril (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Whisky Dan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan has chosen "I'm a man" by Black Strobe as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Viktor Kyril!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Whisky Dan!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dan misses the shot to the body.

Dan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Dan wants to control from the top but Kyril keeps moving.
Kyril wants to sweep here but Dan controlling him for the moment.
Dan trying to control the position from guard on top but Kyril is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dan is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kyril wants to stand and escape but Dan is having none of it.

Dan drops back looking for a leg! Kyril is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kyril manages to kick Dan off! Dan jumps back into Kyril's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kyril drives through and clinches with Dan against the cage.
Kyril keeps control of Dan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Dan tries to pull guard but Kyril holds him up against the cage and eventually Dan drops back down to his feet.
Kyril lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dan or not.

Kyril's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Horrible takedown by Dan or perhaps it was just good defense by Kyril which made him look bad.
Viktor Kyril has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Whisky Dan.

Kyril rushes Dan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kyril gets through Dan's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Dan wants to stall.
The referee is keeping an eye on Kyril - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kyril creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kyril gets through Dan's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Dan is looking to control Kyril's arms but Kyril gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dan has his back to the cage.

The referee calls for Kyril to work.
Kyril lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Kyril unloads a knee to the mid-section. Dan lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Dan goes for a takedown attempt but Kyril pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Kyril escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kyril fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kyril goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
