Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Apolskis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos de Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Apolskis comes to the cage accompanied by Like a G6. de Souza has chosen Brazil is Calling as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de Souza takes a swing at Apolskis's ribcage but misses.

Apolskis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Apolskis tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

de Souza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Apolskis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
de Souza is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Apolskis is controlling him well.

de Souza's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and de Souza duly obliges.
Apolskis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

de Souza fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Apolskis gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Apolskis dives in and grabs de Souza's left leg, looking for a takedown. de Souza pushes down on Apolskis's head and hops out.
de Souza scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It's a brutal combination of punches from de Souza! Apolskis is backing up but he can't get away as de Souza lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Apolskis and ends the fight. Great knockout.
