Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Ohlrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ohlrich has chosen Alice In Chains- Them Bones as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ohlrich as he jumps to the side.
A punch combination from Ohlrich misses.
Gonzalez dives in and grabs Ohlrich's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ohlrich pushes down on Gonzalez's head and hops out.
An inside leg kick lands from Gonzalez.
Gonzalez shoots in but Ohlrich avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pete Gonzalez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gonzalez.
Gonzalez shoots in but no luck this time.
Ohlrich lands with an uppercut that bounces Gonzalez off the cage and back into rage.
Gonzalez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ohlrich swivels and escapes.
Ohlrich closes the distance and clinches.
Gonzalez is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ohlrich can't fight it off and eventually Gonzalez manages to take the fight to the floor. Ohlrich looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ohlrich pulls Gonzalez in close to his closed guard and prevents Gonzalez from doing any damage or advancing position.

Ohlrich manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gonzalez manages to get himself to full guard.
Gonzalez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ohlrich can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Ohlrich not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Gonzalez is breathing heavily.
Gonzalez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ohlrich defends well.
Ohlrich controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ohlrich gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Jon Ohlrich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gonzalez.
Ohlrich lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gonzalez's sensitive parts.
Gonzalez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ohlrich throws a head kick but Gonzalez moves out of range.
Ohlrich tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gonzalez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ohlrich misses with an uppercut. Gonzalez saw that one coming.
Gonzalez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Gonzalez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Ohlrich dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ohlrich takes a swing at Gonzalez's ribcage but misses.

Ohlrich lands a hook that stumbles Gonzalez back into the cage. Ohlrich follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Gonzalez to the canvas! Ohlrich pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Gonzalez has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
