Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wilson Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelsey Renko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chandler has taken the fight to the clinch.
Renko is trying to drag Chandler to the mat but Chandler just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Chandler manages to pull guard.

Renko drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Chandler dives on top into guard.

Renko throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Chandler escapes and throws Renko's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Chandler wants to lay and pray for a moment but Renko keeps working.
Renko tries to bench press Chandler off him but Chandler keeps the position.

Renko tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Chandler wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chandler seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Chandler is landing with some decent strikes but Renko is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Chandler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Renko on the ground.

Chandler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Renko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Chandler wants to get up but he can't break Renko's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Chandler jumps into guard, dragging Renko to the mat.
