The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Melo.
Melo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Melo prevents Silva from escaping the position.
Melo is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Silva is trying to escape and Melo transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Silva is forced to tap! Nice work there by Melo! Very nice indeed!
