The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivlin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Amaral really is a fat lump.
Rivlin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Amaral is looking to escape.
Amaral is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Rivlin wants to take his opponent's back but Amaral doesn't allow it.
Rivlin looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Rivlin takes Amaral's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Amaral is in trouble.

Rivlin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Amaral doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Amaral manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
