Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mahammed Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James york!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie connects with a crisp jab.

It looks like James york has been cut.
Gracie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gracie swings and misses with a hook to the body.

york forces Gracie back against the cage and clinches.
york tries for a takedown but Gracie manages to get underhooks.
york has Gracie pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gracie manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
york drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mahammed Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James york.
Gracie is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Gracie gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Gracie stands and steps away. york gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gracie stands up from york's guard - Gracie perhaps looking for a knockout.
Gracie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gracie throws a right and a left that york avoids nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from york is defended easily by Gracie.
york uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gracie.

york tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gracie swivels and escapes.
Gracie's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Gracie duly obliges.
york looks gassed!

Gracie looks to land a combination but york avoids it well.
york tries to clinch there but Gracie circles away.
Gracie scores with a jab. york acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
york fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gracie cracks york with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

york is rocked!
Gracie is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! york hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
