The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoma scores with a sloppy right hand. Benjy should have avoided that one.
Benjy blocks a low kick nicely.
Yoma tries a head kick but it misses.
Benjy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yoma sprawls well initially but Benjy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Benjy is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Yoma!
Yoma wants to control but Benjy is having none of it.
Benjy takes Yoma's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Yoma is in trouble.

Benjy is persistently looking for the submission but Yoma is defending it well.

Yoma rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Yoma is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Yoma wants to sweep here but Benjy controlling him for the moment.
Benjy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Benjy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Yoma gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Benjy looking for a guillotine from mount but Yoma is having none of it.

Yoma is trying desperately to improve position.
Benjy looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Yoma tries to hold on but Benjy pushes him away.

Yoma pushes Benjy off and gets back to his feet.
Benjy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Yoma feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Benjy's calf.
Yoma throws a nice head kick!

Benjy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Yoma throws out the jab.
Yoma gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Benjy to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Yoma is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Benjy passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Yoma wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Benjy has hold of Yoma's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Yoma seems comfortable defending it but Benjy has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Yoma is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Yoma is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Benjy couldn't care less - he's delighted!
