The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clausey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Head as he jumps to the side.
Head swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Head jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Clausey shoots in for a double leg but Head sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Clausey shoots for a double leg takedown but Head sprawls well. He's pushed Clausey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lions Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Clausey.
Clausey moves in looking to clinch but Head pushes him off.

Head drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Head has hold of Clausey's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Clausey seems comfortable defending it but Head has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Clausey is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Clausey is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Head couldn't care less - he's delighted!
