Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Taz Devil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Almeida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Almeida comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 24 theme song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Almeida blocks a head kick by Devil.
Almeida misses the shot to the body.
Almeida blocks the body kick.
Devil moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Almeida is looking to clinch but Devil is avoiding it.
Devil avoids the body shot from Almeida.
Devil throws a push kick but Almeida slaps the foot to one side.
Almeida throws a head kick that Devil semi-blocks.
Almeida avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Devil scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Almeida looks gassed!
Devil lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Almeida backs up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Devil throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Devil throws the kick towards the body but Almeida avoids it.
Almeida misses with the body kick
and Devil counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Almeida is rocked!

Almeida closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Devil did well to prevent Almeida getting side control.
Almeida is still in real trouble! Can Devil finish him?
Devil is trying to stand up here but Almeida is controlling him well.

Devil pushes Almeida off and gets back to his feet.
Almeida seems to have recovered his senses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Devil. Almeida does a little dance to reset his feet.
Devil with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Devil tries to land a front kick but Almeida steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Anthony Almeida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Devil cracks the inside of Almeida's front leg.
Devil ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Almeida moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Almeida changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Devil tries to avoid it but Almeida manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Devil to the ground. Devil escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Devil throws a shot to the body.
Devil lands with a good body shot.
Devil throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Almeida on the side of the head.
Devil throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Devil is looking to wear down Almeida with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Almeida avoids the head kick by Devil.
Almeida lands with a good body shot.
Almeida uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Devil.
Devil scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Devil! This one is all over!
