Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hardwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reima Maansiirto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardwood has closed the distance and engaged Maansiirto in a clinch.
Hardwood breaks from the clinch.
Maansiirto shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Maansiirto was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Maansiirto misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Maansiirto tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hardwood knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maansiirto on the ground.
Maansiirto has hold of Hardwood's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hardwood manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Hardwood is squirming around, avoiding Maansiirto's attempts to control the action.
Hardwood is trying desperately to improve position.
Maansiirto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Maansiirto wants to finish this one by submission but Hardwood is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Maansiirto.
Hardwood tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Maansiirto can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hardwood is looking to escape.
Hardwood avoids a series of strikes thrown by Maansiirto.
Maansiirto lands a nice shot to the head.
Maansiirto has control of Hardwood's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hardwood regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Maansiirto looks gassed!
Hardwood is working to get back to half guard.
Hardwood wants to hold on but Maansiirto pushes him away.
Maansiirto sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

I looks like Maansiirto might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Maansiirto is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hardwood can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Hardwood is wriggling around trying to escape.
Maansiirto takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Maansiirto is cranking Hardwood's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Hardwood! He's tightened the choke and Hardwood is tapping out!
