Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paul Sullivan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan tries to clinch there but Holliday circles away.

Sullivan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Holliday's guard.

Sullivan has gone for a leg lock! Holliday slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sullivan's guard.
Holliday stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sullivan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Holliday drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Holliday jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sullivan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holliday tries to avoid it but Sullivan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holliday to the ground. Holliday escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Holliday fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sullivan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Holliday lands a nice hook to Sullivan's body. Sullivan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

No joy there for Holliday, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sullivan has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Sullivan shoots in for a double leg but Holliday sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Doc Holliday is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sullivan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Holliday's waist but Holliday gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sullivan off to one side.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Holliday has control of Sullivan's left arm, preventing Sullivan from doing any damage.
Holliday is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Sullivan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Holliday's half guard.

Sullivan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Holliday tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Sullivan has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Holliday has left one of his arms exposed and Sullivan doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Holliday screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
