PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Barkas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barkas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Civil war. Joe Boxer is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Barkas digs a right hand into Boxer's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Boxer's gas tank.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Barkas does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Boxer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barkas paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Barkas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boxer's waist but Boxer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Barkas off to one side.

Barkas shoots in looking for a takedown. Boxer tries to sprawl out of it but Barkas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boxer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Boxer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barkas swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Barkas tries for a takedown but Boxer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Joe Boxer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Boxer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
