Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin The bulldog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin The bulldog!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The bulldog throws a series of punches but Coleman avoids them all with ease.
The bulldog throws a right and a left that Coleman avoids nicely.

Coleman clinches up against the cage.
The bulldog wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The bulldog is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Coleman jumps guard.
The bulldog looking to sit in guard and control but Coleman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The bulldog wants to sweep here but Coleman controlling him for the moment.
The bulldog is trying to control the position but Coleman postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coleman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The bulldog has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Coleman is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for The bulldog.

Coleman has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Coleman's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Coleman darts in and clinches The bulldog up against the cage.
Coleman has The bulldog pressed against the cage, preventing The bulldog from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

The bulldog manages to break the clinch.

Coleman takes the fight into the clinch.
Coleman lands with a short shot to the head.
Coleman with a knee to the head.
Coleman scores with a knee to the head.
The bulldog misses with a knee to the head.

Coleman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Coleman has closed the distance and engaged The bulldog in a clinch.
Coleman is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Coleman creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through The bulldog's defenses.
Come on Coleman - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Coleman has picked The bulldog up - he's going for a ride! Coleman dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Coleman slows the pace down in half guard.
Let's hope that Coleman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The bulldog is trying to control but Coleman manages to pass to mount!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mark Coleman just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Coleman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Coleman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Coleman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


The bulldog throws a combination that misses

and Coleman counters with a shoot takedown. The bulldog fights it but they end up in guard.
Coleman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The bulldog wants to stand and escape but Coleman is having none of it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Coleman is stalling in the full guard.

Coleman gets to his feet - The bulldog follows without any prompting.

Coleman moves into range and clinches up with The bulldog.

Coleman lands a takedown into guard.
Coleman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The bulldog isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Coleman stacks The bulldog on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Coleman!
Mark Coleman has got the better of the ground game so far.
Coleman is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down The bulldog's shoulder. That is not cool.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mark Coleman just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The bulldog breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kevin The bulldog is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The bulldog throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Coleman counter with a right hand.

Coleman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Coleman showed some decent athleticism there.
The bulldog trying to hold on to Coleman's head to control him but Coleman postures up.

The bulldog tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Coleman has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Mark Coleman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Coleman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
