The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dandley slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Dandley has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Dandley could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Alves has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Dandley off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Dandley lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Alves.
Dandley thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dandley has managed to slip his arm under Alves's chin. This could be all over... yep, Alves is tapping out! Submission win for Dandley.
