Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Landon Ricketts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blood misses with a few strikes there.
Ricketts is looking to land body kicks.
Ricketts chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Blood looks to land a left hand but Ricketts moved out of range nicely.
Blood missing with a left hand there. Ricketts was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ricketts keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Blood looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Blood changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ricketts looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blood throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Ricketts tries to improve position but can't.

Blood swings around for an armbar but Ricketts sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Blood's guard.

Ricketts controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Let's hope that Ricketts has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Blood working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ricketts doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ricketts manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ricketts is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Despite being in the dominant position, Landon Ricketts just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Blood misses with a few strikes there.
Ricketts dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blood. That did some damage!

Ricketts rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blood moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Blood is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

and Ricketts counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

A head kick from Ricketts lands but Blood takes it in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Blood throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ricketts's waist but Ricketts gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blood off to one side.
Blood is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Ricketts's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Blood dives in and grabs Ricketts's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ricketts pushes down on Blood's head and hops out.

Ricketts stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ricketts wants it to stay on the feet.
Blood throws the left hand but Ricketts avoids the punch easily.
Ricketts has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Ricketts lands a left and a right that send Blood crashing to the mat, dazed. Ricketts thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Ricketts! Blood is out on his feet! Ricketts rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Blood is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Blood is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
