Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Knockout Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bako King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King moves away from the strike by Bob.
The fighters circling - Bob throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

King gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bob misses with some punches.
King swings wildly with an uppercut but Bob uses good head movement to avoid it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bob.
King has Bob pressed against the cage, preventing Bob from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Bob swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A head punch on the inside from Bob fails to land.
Bob swings wildly with an uppercut but King uses good head movement to avoid it.
King lands with a short shot to the head.

King pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
King takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bob throws a nice looking combination but King bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

King bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bob's head.
Knockout Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bob throws a hook but King avoids it easily.
King steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bob.

King clinches up with Bob and pushes him back against the cage.
King is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bob throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bob walks into a jab.
Bob throws a body punch but King moves out of range.
Bob throws a nice looking combination but King bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
King moves out of range of the strikes.
Bob swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bob takes a swing at King's ribcage but misses.
Bob slips under a jab from King.
Bob looks to land a left hand but King moved out of range nicely.
King shoots in for a takedown but Bob shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bob is really struggling to find his range with his punches. King's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bob as he jumps to the side.
Nice defenses there by King.
King uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bob.
Bob lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bob.

King slips under a jab from Bob.
Bob thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bob throws a looping overhand right but King ducks down to avoid it.
Bob has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bob there as he acknowledges the shot.

King darts in and clinches Bob up against the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Bob.
Bob blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bob blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Bob lands a body punch.
Bob is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
King keeps control of Bob as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Bob is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Bob cracks King with a nice body shot.
King looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
King throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bobs head.
Bob wants to stall.
Bob is trying to force a seperation but King has the dominant position.
Bob wants to break the clinch but can't.

King scores with a nice hook to the head.
Bob is trying to stall.
Bob wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but King has him pressed against the cage.
King throws a head punch that misses.
Bob lands a right hand that snaps the head of King backwards.
A short uppercut from Bob.
King scores with a shoulder strike.
King lands a left hand.
King doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

King breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bob misses with a few strikes there.
Bob scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bob scores with a jab to the jaw.
Bob thows a body shot but no joy.
Bob tests King's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
King walks into a left hand.
King slips a straight right by Bob.

Bob jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Bob misses with a hook.
Bob throws a shot from downtown. King moves away and avoids it.
Bob takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bob throws a big shot that misses.
King displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bob throws out the jab.

King gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Bob is looking to break free of the clinch but King has double underhooks.
King has a couple of punches blocked by Bob.
Bob wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
A nice right hand lands inside from Bob.
Bob tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
King lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
King blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

King breaks the clinch.
King avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



King shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bob manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
King trying to control but Bob is working from the bottom.
King is stalling in the full guard.

King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bob swivels though and keeps the full guard.

King seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
King makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
King works a leg free and moves into half guard.
King is keen to just control but Bob is a slippery customer.
King controlling the action here.
Bob wants to improve his position but King is controlling well.
Bob pushes King off looking to stand but King dives back in and keeps control.
Bob knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground.

King prevents Bob from improving his position.
King throwing shots but Bob is blocking nicely.
Bob on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bob tries to get out of the position.
King with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
King trying to mount his opponent but Bob defends it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
King checks a low kick from Bob.
King looks to land a left hand but Bob moved out of range nicely.
Bob connects with the punch.
Knockout Bob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bob throws a big shot that misses.
Bob keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bob misses with a straight left.
Bob takes a swing at King's ribcage but misses.

Knockout Bob is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
King throws an overhand right that lands on Bob's shoulder, as Bob tries to avoid the shot.

King fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bob sprawls well initially but King persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with King in particular looking to stall.
King is trying to control. Bob wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bob is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
King throwing shots but Bob is blocking nicely.

Bako King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Bob misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
King slips under a jab.
King staying out of range there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bob, as that shot connected.
Bob cracks King with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
King slips under a jab.
Bob loads up on a big right hand but King slips the punch.
Bob changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Bob throws a series of punches but King moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by King.
King takes a body punch but keeps moving.
King shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bob as he avoids it easily.
King takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
King takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Bob misses the jab.
Bob lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Knockout Bob is winning the standup battle so far.

Bob takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
King takes a shot to the body in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bob is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by King.

King closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
King drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.


King is rocked!
Bob looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
King uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bob.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bob lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and King has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from King and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bob stuns King with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
King tries to move into range but Bob moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bob wants to slow King down by chopping away at his legs.
Bob looks to land a combination but King avoids it well.
Bob uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before King has time to react.

Bob throws an uppercut from half a mile away. King sees it coming and avoids it easily.
King tries to move into range but Bob moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bob throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and King connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bob lands with a nice combination. King backs away looking to recover.
King is still on wobbly legs! Can Bob finish him?
Bob looks to throw the jab but King is out of range.
King avoids a punch combination nicely.
King seems to have recovered his senses.

and King counters with a lovely straight right hand!
King has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bob as he jumps to the side.
King jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
King takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bob misses with a looping right.
Bob rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but King moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
Knockout Bob showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Bob has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
