Brothers's entrance music is Eye of the Tiger. A fine choice. Faustino Ronan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mario Brothers's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mario Brothers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Faustino Ronan!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brothers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ronan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ronan stuffs the takedown.
Brothers blocks a head kick by Ronan.
Brothers closes the distance and clinches up with Ronan, looking for a takedown. Brothers pushes Ronan against the cage but Ronan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mario Brothers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ronan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ronan scores with a takedown into Brothers's guard.
Brothers tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ronan looking to sit in guard and control but Brothers gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Brothers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ronan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ronan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brothers.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brothers pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ronan is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brothers throws a big right hand that misses.
Brothers thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Brothers blocks a head kick by Ronan.
Ronan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brothers misses with a takedown
and Ronan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Brothers jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ronan walks away with a smile on his face. Brothers gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ronan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Brothers backs up against the cage.
Brothers shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Brothers trying to control from half guard but Ronan is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brothers lands strikes from half guard.
Brothers thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Ronan to regain full guard.
Brothers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ronan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ronan tries to strike from the bottom.
Ronan has his feet on Brothers's thighs here. He's pushed Brothers off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Brothers screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
