PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Naolo Chin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grimmjow Jaggerrjack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaggerrjack comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Till i Colapse kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Grimmjow Jaggerrjack told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Grimmjow Jaggerrjack!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chin lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jaggerrjack backs up against the cage.
Jaggerrjack blocks a head kick by Chin.

Jaggerrjack scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Jaggerrjack is working Chin over with some ground and pound from side control.
Chin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jaggerrjack has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Chin is not content to let Jaggerrjack control the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Chin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Chin leaves Jaggerrjack with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jaggerrjack shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chin sprawls well. Chin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jaggerrjack gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A nice leg kick lands there from Chin.
Chin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Chin.

and Jaggerrjack counters with a single leg into guard. Chin didn't expect that.
Chin wants to stand but Jaggerrjack is controlling the position.

Chin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jaggerrjack is controlling him.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Nice takedown defense from Chin. No joy for Jaggerrjack on that attempt.
Jaggerrjack changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chin tries to avoid it but Jaggerrjack manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chin to the ground. Chin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jaggerrjack shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chin as he jumps to the side.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Chin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jaggerrjack has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jaggerrjack and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
