Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between F Unit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas Long is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long looks to land a left hand but Unit moved out of range nicely.
Unit misses with a takedown attempt - Long sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Long fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Unit on the side of the head.
Long cracks Unit with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Long fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Unit looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Unit shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Long pinned against the cage. Long gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Unit feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Unit throws and elbow that misses. Long uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Unit's guard. Nice move by Long!
Unit has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Long would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Long wants to stand and escape but instead Unit has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Long preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Long really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Unit. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Long is looking to stand up but Unit isn't so interested in that idea.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close second round but I would say that F Unit will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
