Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cornelius Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Kosneck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mendez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lord Est- Keho on mun temppeli. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cornelius Mendez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Kosneck!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kosneck circles away from the clinch attempt.

Mendez pushes Kosneck up against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Kosneck's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Mendez throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kosneck blocks it with crossed arms.

It looks like John Kosneck has been cut.

Kosneck has hold of one of Mendez's legs. Mendez is fighting the takedown attempt but Kosneck gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Kosneck is looking to take a break and control but Mendez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kosneck is nestled in close to Mendez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kosneck is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mendez is just riding it out for now. Kosneck eventually gives up the hold.
Mendez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kosneck's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kosneck's back!

A left and a right from Mendez both land. Nice combination.
Mendez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kosneck pinned against the cage. Kosneck gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kosneck is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mendez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kosneck.

Kosneck has hold of Mendez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mendez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Kosneck jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Mendez is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Mendez and Kosneck has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kosneck is trying to control the action in half guard but Mendez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Kosneck is looking to advance position but Mendez won't allow it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Mendez has closed the distance and engaged Kosneck in a clinch.

I would just about give that final round to John Kosneck.
