Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Rockwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenta Makashima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rockwell might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Voices. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockwell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Makashima throws a head kick but Rockwell moves out of range.
Makashima ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rockwell moves away.
Makashima looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Makashima pushes Rockwell away with a front kick.
Rockwell avoids the head kick by Makashima.
A slow jab from Rockwell misses its intended target.
Makashima misses with a low kick.
Rockwell shoots in for a takedown but Makashima shows good takedown defense.
Makashima does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Makashima scores with a hook to the body. Rockwell takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Rockwell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Makashima.
Makashima throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rockwell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Makashima circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Simon Rockwell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Makashima defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rockwell.
Rockwell misses with a body shot.
Rockwell throws an overhand right that lands on Makashima's shoulder, as Makashima tries to avoid the shot.

Makashima throws a leg kick but Rockwell checks it.
Makashima lands a slapping body shot.
Makashima is looking to slow Rockwell down with leg kicks.
Makashima lands with an uppercut that bounces Rockwell off the cage and back into rage.
Nice sprawl there from Makashima as Rockwell shoots in.
Makashima misses with a head kick.
Makashima misses with the combination.
Rockwell misses with a takedown attempt - Makashima sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A swing and a miss from Makashima.
Makashima slaps away a takedown attempt from Rockwell, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rockwell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Makashima is looking for a sweep.

Rockwell tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Rockwell is breathing heavily.
Makashima struggling a bit here.
Rockwell wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Makashima, who protects the arm well.

Rockwell has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
A good leg kick by Makashima.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Makashima lands with a nice body kick.
Kenta Makashima seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Makashima wants to clinch.
Rockwell walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Makashima lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rockwell backs up against the cage.
It looks like Simon Rockwell has been cut.
Makashima lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Makashima sends Rockwell crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Makashima is motioning to the referee to let Rockwell up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Rockwell is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Makashima throws a quick head kick that knocks Rockwell silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Makashima is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
