Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Mayfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sub Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayfield comes to the cage accompanied by One. Machine has chosen HERE WE GOOOOO! as his entrance music. Sub Machine acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayfield throws a head kick but Machine moves out of range.

Mayfield shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Machine's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Machine pushes Mayfield off and gets back to his feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Machine. Mayfield does a little dance to reset his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Mayfield closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mayfield lands in his opponent's guard.

Machine had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mayfield defends it easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A close round but Sub Machine will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Machine stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Machine lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mayfield has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mayfield and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Machine won't allow Mayfield to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Machine thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Machine tries to stand but Mayfield is controlling from the bottom.

Mayfield isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Machine stacks Mayfield on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Machine!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mayfield is looking to regain half guard here but Machine keeps moving and retains side control.

Machine uses his free foot to push down on Mayfield's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mayfield.
Machine throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Machine stands up from mount. Strange move.
Machine throws a hook but Mayfield blocks it.
Mayfield misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Machine looks to land a combination but Mayfield avoids it well.

Machine scores with a takedown into Mayfield's guard.
Machine is looking to work some ground and pound but Mayfield has wrist control.

Mayfield looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Machine is defending well. Mayfield quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Machine has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Mayfield celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
