Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a wild body kick that Lopez sees coming a mile off.
Lopez on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Silva. Silva obviously looking to wear him down.
Lopez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A head kick misses from Silva.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lopez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lopez avoids the head kick by Silva.
Silva lands a nice looking body kick.
Silva throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Lopez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silva digs a right hand into Lopez's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lopez's gas tank.

Silva lands with a light punch inside.
Silva stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Silva scores with a shot to the side of Lopez's head.
Silva lands with a right to the head.
Silva lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lopez backwards.
Silva lands a nice shot to the body.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Silva.
Silva is working Lopez over against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva has an Americana. Lopez didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Silva is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Silva hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
